It is about believing in one God and one God only: Allah (which is the Arabic word for God). Every Muslim follows the Qura'an (Allah's words) that has all the rules. In general they are: Do whatever you like as long as it doesn't hurt others (like killing, stealing, etc) and respect all forms of life especailly fellow humans. Don't drink alchohol, eat pork, gamble, do drugs or have premaritial sex or affiars (each has a logical reason for preohibiting, and science backs it up).
